The AARP Tax Season is over at the West Orange library!
We appreciate everyone's patience during the bumpy two weeks of snow. Here is a note from the AARP Coordinator:
"Many residents of West Orange and other Essex County residents have had their federal and state taxes , and where applicable property tax freeze applications completed. With 2 lost days due to snow, we tried to accommodate and reschedule as many people as possible during the remaining days at West Orange or direct them to other AARP sites in the area. Thanks go out to a great library staff for their assistance during this tax season.. Special thanks to Library Director Dave Cubie for his cooperation and assistance, to Pedro who set up our room every Wednesday, to Mary-Jean, Raji, and Isabel who handled our appointments with great efficiency and dealt with many different client issues and questions, and also thanks to all library staff who helped along the way."
If a patron already has more than 3 requests, they will not automatically be cancelled, but the patron will not be able to place any new requests until their current requests have been reduced to less than 3. Patrons may choose to cancel requests that they no longer need or want in order to allow them to place new requests. For further information, please watch this BCCLS video. (Please note: Part 2 of video begins at 1:33) We thank you for your patience and apologize for the delays. If you have any questions, please contact the Reference Department at 973-736-0196.
